Treatment

  • Topical lubricants for symptomatic relief
  • If the lashes present on the lesion and cause discomfort consider referral to Ophthalmology department for electrolysis

Advice

  • Surgical treatment is generally avoided due to possibility of complications such as scarring, ptosis, sight threatening dry eye, and ocular motility problems
